The folowing levels are available:
1: Beginner
You can use simple phrases and sentences on familiar topics and understand very simple written sentences. You can also write short, simple postcards and notes and complete forms with personal details.
2: Elementary
You can communicate in simple and routine tasks on familiar topics and activities. You can read simple texts, advertisements, prospectuses, menus and timetables.You can write short, simple notes and personal letters.
3: Pre-Intermediate
You can communicate fluently in most situations and understand the main points in English radio or TV programmes. You can read and write personal letters.
4: Intermediate
You can discuss and understand complex arguments on familiar topics as well as most TV News, programmes and films. You can read novels and write essays, reports and letters.
5: Upper-Intermediate
You can read literary texts and write about complex subjects in letters and essays. You can communicate confidently, using idiomatic expressions and colloquialisms. You can understand English at fast, native speed. You can read complex articles and literature and write complex texts.
6: Advanced
You can communicate fluently, using idiomatic expressions and colloquialisms. You can understand spoken English at fast, native speed. You can read complex articles and literature and write complex, stylistically-appropriate texts.
7: Proficiency
You can speak, understand and write with the competence approaching that of your native language and understand tone, register and regional accent and deal competently with literature written at native, English standard.
