IntroAward

Qualification: Introductory Award in Administrative Management

Who is this suitable for?

This qualification is for individuals who want to learn how to improve their skills and understanding of business administration best practice. It also provides a basis from which more advanced skills and knowledge can be developed.

You will learn how to:

  • Work with data and information more effectively

Study

The Introductory Award is open to everyone, irrespective of previous experience or qualifications. It requires 60 hours of study over as short or long a time as you wish, from 6 to 12 months. The award is made up of three units:

  • Individuals Within Organisations
  • Organisational Skills

Certificate

Qualification: Certificate in Administrative Management

Qualification: Advanced Diploma in Administrative Management

  • Strategic Issues in Administration
  • Administrative Management of Resources
  • Human Resource Management and Practice
  • Case Study 2 or Project Report 2

BA(Hons)

Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Business Management

Following an internal review of the BA Strategic Administrative Management degree, a decision was made to make a number of changes to the content and submit the revised programme for university validation under a new title, BA (Hons) Business Management.

We are pleased to announce that the University of Wales Validation Board has recommended that the University approves provisional validation of the revised programme. We anticipate that formal approval will be received by the end of August enabling registrations to commence in October 2008.
